It has to be Snow Patrol.

I actually quite like Miss Allen. I wouldnt buy her records but they are cheerful, and surprisingly incisive lyrics. Rhyming 'Tesco' with 'Al Fresco' is amusingly brave.

I was about to say, I know nowt about Ms Allen.

But I already know Snow Patrol, Badly Drawn Boy and Bez trying to be an MC would be utter shite. Although the last is shite in a kind of 'ah, bless' manner.

This is her doing her No 1 single live on TV. As I said its light frothy summery pop, with lyrics um from 'da street'. Certainly nothing to overly hate; she isnt going to be headlining Glastonbury next year or anything.

i totally loved "Smile" as soon as I heard it. Not too sure abouther album though, all a wee bit samey, although I did like the strange track about her wee bro. More than anything because of the counterpoint of the sort of nursery rhyme music and stompy JD style drums.

the LNDN (or however you spell it) song is ok, but that damn smile song was played ad nauseam when i was in england and i'm goddamn sick of it.

I think she'd be the type of burd that shags you rather than the other way round. A rare species but most agreeable when you do happen upon one.

lighten up.

what about all those hunky punky boy bands from Nagasaki. you must fantasise about some of them?

I don't really listen to J-Pop (Japanese pop music.) I like New Order, and I love jazz.

So you never listened to and tried to dress like Puffy?

No. Puffy aren't the only female celebrities in Japan, and I don't dress like that. Just like so, not all Americans dress like cowboys and George Bush, right?
