ZX81. Had a mssive 64k memory expansion to it cos I used to work in a place called Fuller Microsystems. We made all kinds of shit for the Spectrum like sound synths, orators and full size keyboards.

Mine was a ZX Spectrum. That Christmas my dad also made me a desk with matching stool. I spent all day Christmas day and most of the day Boxing day, inputting a programme that was about 10 pages long, each line like this:
124/}sintac>0.984(if>10.. (you get the gist)
Finally, after scouring through for errors I gathered my family round the TV to see what wonderous thing I had programmed in...
A cursor drew a series of lines on the screen in the outline of the Union Jack, then coloured them in.
Yes, 2 whole days concentrating intently on the screen and that's all it did - drew a bloody flag. My mum and dad tried not to laugh but I was gutted.

lol. i should still have my programmed game of Tron somewhere. I think that took fooking weeks to get right.

I typed that same bastard program in 
Despite that I still prefer communicating with the bggers via keyboard.

I was once so bored in computing class at high school I coded a very simple program which scrolled a single line endlessly in multi-coloured font on the BBC. The teacher at the time was an proper old bag to deal with and was pissing me off so the line I put in was something like:
PRINT "Mrs ****** is a f*cking stupid c*nt" then a quick GOTO10.
Looking back, not the most eloquent of statements I grant you but it was enough to have my side of the classroom in stitches for a moment or so before she noticed the commotion and marched over.
I've never flicked a power switch so quickly in my life. The best part was she knew I was doing something but didn't have a clue what and thankfully none of my classmates grassed me up despite "What was on that screen?!" screeches from the old bird.
If I'd been caught that would've been instant suspension.
In retrospect, that wouldn't have been such a bad thing.

amiga 600 and then the 1200,twas good fun at the time,plenty of games ect. imo it was the death of commodore that led to the rise of the pc,at the very least the amiga gave the pc market the kick up the arse it needed at the time, the rest is history of course.

It was, and for my money IS, a FAR superior machine in every way ( barring modern speed improvemnets) than the PC.
It was never Commodore's baby. They never loved it.
EDITED for coheerent gramatical logic.
It was in 1991. All I could do with it was to play floppy discs with games until the computer was down sometime in 1992 and thrown away.
Also a TRS80, but not the colour version (that came out later). I overclocked it from 1.77Mhz to a 'blistering' 2.66Mhz! No special cooling required (or any cooling at all, come to that).
