i entirely disagree. dressing up as pippi longstocking and the razor-in-the-apples scare and all.
damn fine film, as well. just finished watching it about an hour ago. i'm now on halloween II and it's all going downhill from here.
razors in apples is fucking ace.. when I become old and crazy I'm going to do that!
One year growing up (in Kindergarten to be exact) I was in a what one call a "not nice" neighborhood. It's basically been burnt out since then. Anyway, there was a poisoning scare at the Rite Aid in our neighborhood and I remember that we were all in Kinnygaren for a costume party, and the class moms had all bought their candy at Rite Aid, and they were throwing the candy out and stomping on it and stuff...
The kind of stuff that's a nitemare to 5 year olds. It's normally the first Halloween they realise they just have to be cute and people will give them candy!!! Everyone was crying... I think they went to another shop.. but I can't remember that much.
I also remember taking our pillow cases to McDonalds to put them through the metal detector to make sure there were no razors. Good lulz
