And its veggie too...

Why do Veggie people need it to look like a meat product?

Can they not let go 'of the good old days'?

I tried once to get my dog to go veggie, bought her some good, wholesome vegetarian dogfood.

She wouldn't eat it.

For nearly two weeks. I thought she'd die....

I finally relented and got her some regular meat-based dogfood.

She didn't eat that, either.

She inhaled it.

No more veggie experiments with her after that. :nono:

Too right.. although we do like using them for animal testing and medical thingy processes.

I was just saying why do veggie bacon products have to look like bacon, and prolly have so much effort, money, and prolly chemicals to make em look like bacon?

Why cant you have tofu or soya stuff with bacon flavouring instead?.. or just bloody vegetables?

It defeats the point surely?

I dunno much about dogs, but i know a couple of veggies, and they would never do that. Something about the word 'carnivores' etc.

Our bacon sarnie experiment was okay, but not an altogether success. Used sourdough, so the bread was a bit too overpowering and chewy. That Irish bacon was damn expensive too, so we'll probably cheat and use something like Canadian bacon in the future. HP sauce kicks ass though.

Sourdough? :brow: C'mon. You weren't paying attention! Sourdough is only good for putting mass-produced chowder in down at Fisherman's Wharf for the tourists... Is there not a shop in SF that imports British foods? It's got to be good starchy white Brit bread. And if you're going down the Canadian bacon route, shove it in an onion bagel instead - nice! Alternatively, fly to England and we'll organise a Viking raid on all the best greasy spoon cafes..... Chef out. :food:

Hey, Pope, if you can't find a decent English shop, there is one in Campbell that is awesome. And they have HP sauce. :thumb:

We went to their satellite store in some damn place closer than Cambo. About 20 miles away. Lots of good stuff. The gf just wanted an excuse to go buy christmas pudding, which she considers the legal side of crack.
