Well I've laid into the Killers too much already, but the lateast single 'Boner' sounds terribly like Roy Orbison, after the Springsteen impression on the first one. Who is the next one gonna be?
Also is the drummer modelling himself on Earl Hickey out of 'My Name is Earl'?

I would love it if the Killers imploded mid-desert. That sort of love ok for you?
all i know about the killers is that their music is pretty decent and the lead singer is a practicing mormon.

First album = great
Second album = suck
Agreed, I really loved Hot Fuss and could happily leave it playing as I liked all the tracks on it. However, after several listens I think Sam's Town is poor.

You turn the radio OFF when a Killers song comes on? Thats a bit harsh. Anyway, as someone who is almost bordering on clinical depression because New Order have split up, i'm surprised you are listening to anything other than NO.
Sams Town sucks the big one. Poorly produced and the songs just arent as good. The Killers- unquestionably this decades Oasis...

Hello you,did you like my live segments from Brixton Academy last night? I thought they were bloody great,it was just a shame I was up in the circle, and not in the mosh-pit. Stage set was a hint of cantina about it.
SAM'S TOWN has really grown on me,it's not as obvious 80's throwback as HOT FUSS,there were songs on that one that could have been filled in by Simon Le Bon.
Love the title track, the singles and Read My Mind.![]()
