Commie, note that I said in one of my previous posts that it may be the mother's idea to allow the brother to post the vid on the internet to teach her daughter and husband a lesson...

Now, on to something else...

With all of your incessant discussion about most of the world being infantilized, you still believe that sanitation is the main cause of longevity--while I believe that improvements in health care is the most important part about longevity?

And about your talks about "Back then, you can graduate from high school to go get a job to provide for your family..." here's the thing: That kind of education is losing value. You need a college degree to make a living. And you call that infantilizing... You should listen to Bob Dylan more, "Times are a-changin'"

With all of your incessant discussion about twenty-somethings being infantilized, you still believe that sanitation is the main cause of longevity--while I believe that improvements in health care is the most important part about longevity?

Fixed it. ;)

Yes, that's what I maintain, but...

...perhaps we should change the subject off-line. ;)

It's also a relief to say that this twenty-something don't have a car yet... the insurance rates are ridiculous for my age demographic.

And...this twenty-something knows that a college degree is a mininum now to make a good living. :p :raspberry:

Jesus, I'm being Archie Bunker here.

No employer gives a flying FUCK about a full, rounded education, they only want monkeys to train. I know people with honours degrees who can't get jobs cos they don;t have a GNVQ (exams started so there was something for hairdressers to pass) in the EXACT field the job is in. Sad sad sad. I even know someone with a PHD in computational fluid dynamics, who was asked at a job interview if he had an ECDL ( european computer driving license, a "qualification" which comfirms, after 6 months, that you can log into windows and successfully run outhouse excuse).

PS: Commie, get real. Having a car for a 16th birthday present is not that unusual, even if the parents aren't rich...

It still lends to a stupid sense of entitlement.

Mind you if I wanted a car when I turned 16 I had to pay for it myself, and I decided it wasn't important enough to waste money on...I didn't have a car so I didn't learn to drive. Now a decade plus later I don't have the time to learn

Her reaction may not be mature. However, some people would be disappointed in situations like that.

There are ways of handling the situation instead of throwing a tantrum. Pretending to be pleased then maybe asking if you could change the colour later.

If my parents bought me a car on my 16th birthday I'd be so pleased I couldn't care if it was green with orange spots. This girl has obviously got what she wanted all her life.

After some serious thinking, I realized that I couldn't hear her say, "Daddy, I told you a million f---ing times!". This loaner computer has subpar sound quality; I wish I had my earphones. Still, I have to agree that she's spoiled. :banghead:

Quality tantrum...Little cow eh! love the way the brother shames her bigtime,if it aint a set-up for a daft crac that is! She's one of those "Oh my God,Daddy, just like, totally red..I want blue,to be,just like, totally awesome, you asshole!" types is'nt she?

Reminds me of the time we were in Florida, and a kid got the wrong pizza in a restaurant and threw an almighty hissy-fit at his dad,in that full-on Southern States "Geeeez,Daaaaddy" drawl that had us pissing ourselves..This kid shit himself once Pop had had enough and started threatening sanctions mind."Geeeeez,I'm sorrry Daydeeee,I don't wanna... " had me and our lass pissing ourselves.

I didn't read all the messages, but I heard it's a set-up.. some kind of viral marketing for Domino's Pizza.

They will put the car for sale on eBay...

And it works since it's been 3 places I've read about this today ;)

Showed it to a guy in work, I think he got a boner for miss scumbag, and went a-searching....wee whore has dozens of vids on youtube, including one pertaining to the sale ( for $9.99 alledgedly) of the car.

Grrrrr
