i'm hardly the first person to name them. i think jd are pretty big as well, but i donlt think either are huge.

interesting criteria - another german band that's bigger than them - yeah, that's a measure of hugeness, hasslehoff is big in germany fer chrissakes!

My opinion of the top 5 cult bands are (1)The Cure, (2)Joy Division/New Order, (3)Depeche Mode, (4)Bauhaus/Love and Rockets, and (5)The Smiths.

I'd say that The Scorpions were Germanys' biggest band.I would guess that they have shifted more records than Kraftwerk. Crap band though.

Feel like i've been buried up to my neck then stoned for suggesting Kraftwerk were bigger than a cult band. As for the Scorpions,im not having it they were/are bigger than the technokraut pioneers.

Can't see how Kraftwerk can be considered as a cult band either, hugely, hugely influential yes but not a cult band for me I'm afraid...
