I'm not barred from any pubs thankyou Steve(amazingly) and Rocket what is your fascination with the Jolly Crofters? Incidentally, I was in there a couple of weeks ago and asked for Ceremony and nobody had heard of him, so I must have the wrong pub!

It is ONE of the pubs mentioned in a book i have just read about the plane crash on WINTER HILL in 1958.THE DEVIL CASTS HIS NET.I think there is a tribute to the people of HORWICH/BOLTON from the people of the ISLE OF MAN for their help at that time. :thumb:

It's a nice pub, does decent food too, about 1/2 mile from my house. Last time I went in I ate a Ploughmans lunch, he was livid.

STRANGE question but no.I have only ONE carpet in my house.I also don't like OLD clothes and have been throwing bin fulls of them out over the last 4 days.I also gave several Quality type clothing away to a charity shop this weekend but the clothes belonged to my son.He will be LIVID when he finds out!

Possibly; but I was particularly interested in Rockets opinion on shag pile............for instance if he has shag, does he use a specific shampoo, or does he get a man in who can? Does he use a special cleanser - or does he have it treated by specialists?
