I filed mine yesterday 10 weeks before they are due! I am getting 202 back from the federal government--unfortunately. I'm not interested in giving the government an interest free loan--but my student loan repayments increase my deduction blah blah blah, I can't know what that amount is going to be before hand to put it on my i9. At least I am getting it back instead of letting the government keep it.

However, I owe the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania one fucking dollar. ONE FUCKING DOLLAR! I have to increase that by 39 percent to fucking get it there.

blahhhh

I've got a brother who's an accountant so he's gets the dubious honor of doing my taxes since we own a business together. Nothing like free tax service. :D

Yep, I bought the TaxCut software, since we bought a house this year. We're supposed to get a bit back, I think....:)

Finally got the last of my tax returnforms from my mortgage company. So I'm getting on it tommorrow.

Found a great tax guy, a few years back, that beats all the tax software out there. Somehow I pay 4-5,000 in taxes, but yet he usually gets me around $8000 back. First time I went to him, he asked to see the prior year's taxes (which I had done with tax software), he got me back another $2000 from that year as well.

If you have a mortgage and dependents, go for a good independent tax guy.....you'll get your money back.:thumb:

US-ians aren't the only ones you know!!!!!

I am sick to the back teeth of parting with money to HM Customs & Excise, the Inland Revenue and just about everybody else...............'this tax'; 'that tax' etc etc etc.........

This government were supposed to support/help new and small businesses..........they have just managed to ruin mine...... stick that up your arse Mick Hucknall. :evil4:

Sit back, curl your hair and reap the rewards of your casino construction! Git.

Rant over.

PS - your music is crap as well. Ginger was so 1980's as well. You could have given me your £50k instead of our 'Tony'; I'd have spent it more wisely. Arsehole.

Rant now definitely over.

Just got my W2 this week, but have been too busy dealing with work and a tornado aftermath to get taxes done. Give me about another week, I'll get back to you then.

Quit bitchin', taxes are a way of life...

Us USians should be happy that we don't have to pay extra taxes for the war in Iraq, the Chinese have been nice enough to lend us the money... we won't have to pay back until we're disabled overweight senior citizens when all our pension funds are broke and oil is over $200 a barrel, no problem...
