It’s always raining, always. And even when its not, you think it will, due to the overwhelming greyness that engulfs everything and everyone.

Travel a few miles out in any direction and you’ll find plenty of friendly, cheery Lancastrian lovelies, but in the centre its all Mancs and their misery.

The “famous” Manchester nightlife is all right if you’re in a group, but try and chat to anyone else and you’ll find they are too busy taking themselves seriously.

There is nothing dazzling, nor original about Manchester, even their most famous musicians have to nick their songs from the Beatles.

The trams are a good idea though…

 That is why Mancs are born with gills...

Not only does it give us the ability to cope with all the rain it also allows us to breathe thru them whilst downing drinks, smoking fags, chatting about pigeon racing and being rude to outsiders.:thumb:

Went there the other day and it was sunny. My brother reckons it's a cross between American and English city probably cause of some tall buildings in and around the city center. A special mention to Alex, the pizza hut chatty waiter, who knew where Belgrade is. Loved the trams

I nearly got run over by a tram . . (several actually) . . kept forgetting to look out for them! I like Manchester though and its always been fairly sunny when I've been there - could be the wine mind!!!

Still prefer London! I would move there tomorrow if I could afford it.

As in people from Lancaster?

You'll only find them in one direction - North up the M6.

Who's writing this shit?

Lancashire does have the best birds though

It should be pointed out that there is 'good' Mancland, which is the centre and that which resides south of it, and then there's the sprawling shithole that lies to the north of said centre.

Still crap compared to Stoke, though.

I agree. I can't stand being in North Manc that long but to visit my parents. Though, I'd rather be there in any part of Manc then here at the moment.

No, I presume people from Lancashire, which is where Manchester was until the politicians decided to change all the traditional county boundaries in 1974. Lancashire CCC play cricket at Old Trafford Manchester, therefore Manchester is still in Lancashire.
