Er, that was a very long time ago. 
I remember my first three *adult* albums, but they were Christmas gifts, not one's I'd bought myself.
I'd guess my first I bought myself was Wheels of Fire.

That would be Wham! - Make it Big!!!!!
Damned if I can remember. I might be Wham-Make it Big, or Thriller, or Queen's Greatest Hits. I'm not sure any of those are something to be proud of, but it's easy to confess these things over the internet. :D
Fuel ~ 'Sunburn' back in the 9th grade [October '98]. Great album back then too. Haven't heard it in a while though.

No idea what the First ones were. First well used LP that was real pleased to see. was JD's Unknown Pleasures. Then (wrong thread) TBTHo G. as think it was the Japanese Import on Virgin's label. Gorgeous.
