Seems like it, and we all told him to go. :(

Damn. He should have taken a friend. The things Depeche Mode have to answer for, eh? Well, what can you do

So jesse...what's up?

Did he go AWOL?

Actually, I didn't go AWOL. I lost my internet connection for a few weeks, I've been dealing with a lot of screwy crap at my job, and I've been working on a story for the newspaper I write for that involved interviewing Alan Wilder.

But, nothing came of this. My classmate never mentioned it after, which was kind of a relief. I didn't want to go on a blind date, anyway.

He's alive yeh. :thumb:

You still should have gone. We all need to get out of our comfort zone now and then.

My classmate didn't bring it up, so I didn't push it. If I can find time now between writing, substitute teaching, and looking for another job (I think my boss is about to be sued at the brokerage firm I've worked at for three months), maybe I'll date someone.

Erm, so, if you want to live vicariously through me, you won't mind being screwed by another guy, then?

Or, you won't mind helping me find another job, would you?

Nah, life is all about taking the odd risk. I just want him to be happy.

I really should take my own advice more often.

Hey, it was a joke....I resurreceted this thread just cause we haven't heard from you for so long and wondered what happened....hope you find someone soon, but it'll happen when you're not looking...just get yerself out there like Ron was talking about.:thumb:

Always happens when you're really not looking, so true. How does that work? Like the thing about only being able to see faeries in your peripheral vision or the devil in mirrors. My mind is really off on a tangent at the moment. Sorry guys, maybe that sleep thing that I've heard people talking about has some element of truth.
