MIMX, how many people REALLY have what it takes to stop these problems? Its not a water issue that is the issue, but warlords and bullies with weapons that are forcing villages into issues like this.

Want to fix the issue? Then the warlords and bullies need to be taken out and replaced......but Iraq is a prime case to show how that isn't as easy as it sounds....

So instead of complaining about F1, how about DOING something about the water issue then, instead of waiting for others to take care of the issue......

I have not made any personal attacks.

You stated that I assumed incorrectly; you have done something PROACTIVE on this issue you brought up.

I asked you to enlighten me on what YOU have done to be proactive (and not meant in a facetious way).

Instead you answered with NOTHING but a vague statement, so YOU have let me assume that YOU have done NOTHING about this water issue you brought up.

Depends on whether you judge well by BMW getting 1600 horse power from 1.6 litres, or by the sight of syncronised Renault detonations really. You sure it was on the roads first?

It was 1.5, not 1.6. You see 1.5 engines with 1600 hps on streets? That was specifically created for F1, and for qualifiying only. F1 was not laboratory for what we have on streets today, despite may had contributed with one or other thing.

Turbos were first designed for ships (. Than WWII brought in the American fighter jets that used turbos. It was only one guy in the 50's, don't remember the name, but he had a diesel engine. I think the first gasoline engine was in the Chevy Corvair....and it wasn't very reliable. My sister has a Covair Monza Spyder, and (my personal opinion) its a peice of crap.

Hmm, so that`s why turbocharged cars on those days were shite

Anyway, what I said is that F1 didnt invent or developped the technology. Of course, turbo was used in prodution cars after being used in ships, airplanes or race cars. But trucks used turbo diesel engines before the race cars. So its not like the "racing world" had invented the whole thing.
