Trevor Horn (the man who, almost as much as the great lord Jeczalik got me into machines) playing bass like Hooky (the man who kept me interested in bass long enough to make it stick), in a live version of "holy egotism of genius", also featuring MUCH more Morely shite. Pop star he is not, but AoN have hardly ever been a pop band. I love the new lineup (though Lol Cream?????? WTF, bit of a TH's mate shoe-in) But I really MISS JJ and his performing sand (though 2 studious looking geeks run what could well be a final generation CMI...I dunno, I lost track of what Farilight were up to when the started building uberpowerful AV processing supercomputers)

BTW if the YOUTUBE doesn't show up lemme know...assuming they usually work for you. If they don't, bog off, if I can make them play in an obscure free software operating system, you can make em go in the oh so perfct IE.

Loved Art back in the 80s, but with exception of a few songs (Peter Gunn, Moments in Love) I think the stuff has dated quite badly. Granted they paved the way for many, but can't really get myself to listen to an album by them anymore.

Wow, that was....ummm...definately different. Not my cup o' tea....but they really need dancing lessons, you think with the message he's sending he would have more sense than to dance like that.....and what's with that dancing chick that sings for about 2.3 seconds?????

As I said, Morely is no pop star. The chick is a proper opera singer (hence the rod up her arse), she sings her tits off on "Born on a sunday", if you can stomach another.

That bass really DOES sound like the Hookster though doesn't it.

Odd to see Morley in a live set up .Forgot he was in AoN years ago.So used to seeing him as a talking head on Newsnight review etc these days.And yeah Trevor Horn does sound and play a bit Hookyish on that Holy Egoism Of Genius

Haven't seen that for years! (And yeah, being Mrs. Morley, Claudia stayed signed to ZTT and went on to do the Act stuff). Why didn't I figure that out?
