Just been given a £30 bottle of red win at work for swapping a shift with someone. I dont like to drink the stuff, so does anyone know what the fuck I should do with it?

I dont want to consult my cook books as they are somewhere in my store cupboard. Probably at the bottom.

Give to someone for a birthday or christmas present. Don't like the stuff either but could drink it if need be, much prefer white.

You could, of course, use the same bottle of red wine to give to someone else who agrees a shift change with you in the future!

(Assuming it's not the same person)!

Nick, what would be wrong with giving it back to the same person???

Whats the date/make on the label? Sounds like a wine that might gain value with age.

Don't waste it on cooking.

Actually, fuck it, give it to Jem.

I don't think that really qualifies as red wine

:p

doubt you'd get much for it - i wouldn't buy wine from an individual - no idea how it had been kept, could have been ruined by storing it at wrong temperature etc

The only wine worth bothering about

Yes, i admit it, I made the whole thing up, because I'm a boring bastard. :skeptic:

The thing is, John, you've probably never even seen a £30 bottle of wine, so I dont see why your contributing to this. So why dont you fuck off back under that rock you crawled under from, and leave everyone else to make their suggestions.

Oh, and the fact that you are calling me boring is really, really quite hypocritical. But if you have any issues with that you can take it up with me on Saturday.

Might I suggest you give that vino to Kirshaw after he's battered you Liam...

To the victor goes the spoils... Or you could just neck it and start throwing windmills at every scouse at Aintree
