Went to see it last night and I was pleasently suprised. First half of the film dealt with why Myers started killing and the second was the remake of the original. Took a different spin by making Myers the focus instead of the boogieman. The only gripe I had was that, since he was portrayed as human, you couldn't take it seriously when he was being shot and beaten but still getting up.
WOW and people say I'M sad for asking questions like....

Or "why does sound travel at 670Million MPH in hollywood, enabling us to hear thunder at the same time we see lightning".
It's a horror film Chirs, it's bullshit by definition.
Carrying on, I loved the original but I always had a problem with the scene where Myers wears the bedsheet and the glasses. The original Myers wouldn't have done that but this one (due to his fetish for making masks) makes it more believeable.
He's also about 7 foot.

Bere, it's not just a remake. Rob Zombie goes into Myers' childhood for about half of the film and makes him much more sympathetic and 'hero' like.

My friend at work has got a dodgy copy of the new film 1408 (John Cusack/Samuel L Jackson), and she's promised to lend it me on Monday.
I'm actually really excited, it's the first horror film that I've read 4 reviews of and all have given it 4/5 stars. Although my friend said it's really more of a thriller.
Don't ruin it for me anybody.

A serial killer slumped on the floor with his head in his hands, with you swaying back and forth giving it plenty of....

Besides, who needs horror movies, have you MET the human race?
the first Halloween was a classic!!! right up there with the exorcist & the evil dead.
