I was just thinking. In this huge gap in both our international calendars now. (One which Scotland are used to). Perhaps we could have a home and away fixture, sort it out properly.
Or as the whole of the UK is feckin useless. We could do the Home Championship again.

I wouldn't fancy our chances against Norn Iron! ![]()
Anyways, we've got enough Scottish drunks on the streets of London without encouraging more of 'em down here! ![]()

I was just thinking both England and Scotland might get to the semi finals, if it was a knockout tournament, and we included the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Sheppey.
That brand new Gibson 335 I'm getting thanks to this one - shall I get it lacquered in red and white checks?
I was not waiting for this, I was not expecting this but I thought about it a long time ago. You have too much foreign players in your championship... and... what happened tonight was predictable...
If I were in place of the FIFA chairman, three foreign players by clubs, no less, no more...

I reckon it's not been since the mid 80's that the Home Nations have been as close as they currently are in terms of ability. A good time to re-introduce the tournament I think.
If competitive performances over the past 18 months are anything to go by though there'd only be one winner. ![]()
What a pile of Shite, Why does Beckham play ? Is it just to unveil a new hairstyle?
Overpaid twats ![]()
What is the difference between Lewis Hamilton and the England Football Team?
Lewis Hamilton will still have a McLaren tomorrow morning.
I cant believe that cunt McClaren hasn't had the balls to resign, he really is a shithouse. Oh how the FA must be thinking they were too hasty with Sven now - sacking him because he was putting it about and the papers loved it.
Gerrard,Beckham, the lot should be told they're no longer needed at international level.

True. But I think it's so he gets his £2.5million payoff. Typically English that, fail to do your job completely and get a massive payoff. Cunts!
I even felt slightly smug at the fact Croatia were so smug – who could blame them? England is better known for the WAGS then as a talented football nation. It’s the Wag antics at tournaments that make the news headlines, dancing on tables, arrogant, loud mouthed moo cows making a living on the fact that they are simply a wife or girlfriend of a footballer who’s more than likely not even up to the international standard in the first place.
Don’t see how many people can dig at Beckham – he’s playing rubbish football in America, but not even managed that as he’s been injured most of the season, he’s not fit – yet he contributed more to last night’s game by that one touch, than the entire squad put together – bar Peter Crouch. Don’t see how anyone can blame him or slag him off to be honest.
Peter Crouch is the only person that showed any kind of spirit last night – don’t know what’s happened to Gerrard – perhaps he was high on the fumes of Alex Curran’s new perfume that she’s been plugging relentlessly the month (maybe the lads could learn a thing or two from the ladies about ambition, drive and ruthlessness?)
I’d choke even mentioning any of the other player’s names through sheer disbelief that they are anywhere near international standard! It’s totally laughable. And that’s exactly what England are!
We didn’t deserve to go through last night – even if we’d managed to blag an invite to the party. We’ve been embarrassingly poor throughout the qualifying rounds and I’m sure the rest of the qualifying teams have breathed a sigh of relief that they don’t have to put up with the arrogant WAGS bringing down the tone by dancing on tables and abusing other wives and girlfriends during the tournament next year. For that reason alone – we should be celebrating England being too rubbish to get qualify! I am!
McClaren is another arrogant, disillusioned manager of England that he refused to resign proves that this is true – but what the hell happened to Venables? What was his role exactly? It was always evident McClaren would never do a good job, but with Terry in the wings, I thought he might bring some of that sense and magic of the Euro 96 – he’s been a half decent manager – had the passion and spirit for the game, and England – but that has just gone the past 15 months. No life or inspiration in that soul at all.
I know a lot of the squad was out – but we’ve been shit throughout, even with those players in – so no point looking for desperate excuses. There’s defo something wrong with the football system in England – it starts quite blatantly with the Football Association as far as I’m concerned – from the grassroots, up to club level and appointment of managers and the whole general set up. Bunch of crooks creaming off fat wages. Is it any wonder they give such disgusting pay offs to managers who don’t cut the mustard when they can’t deliver either? All that money Sven and Steve have received - think of how that money could have been invested for facilities and the next generation of players!
I think there are probably better players in Division 1 – then some of those twits selected last night – in fact, I’d guarantee it, and I think it’s about time England management look outside the box that is the premiership.
Not sure I agree the argument that there are too many foreign players in the Premiership – if we didn’t have them and the quality they bring – we’d be watching pony like last night every game – I wouldn’t be too chuffed about forking out 1k every season for that pile of crud! English players can learn a thing or two from our foreign players – not least some lessons in being humble and grateful for the privilege to earn such money, and play for your country! It’s meant to be the biggest honor you can get – so why take the piss? That’s exactly what the majority were doing last night!
In all fairness – England have for a very long time been below or just average, it’s easy to forget how shit and boring we usually are in the qualifying rounds of any tournament – I can’t remember the last time we qualified for a major tournament in spectacular style - for some reason though, we tend to raise the bar during any finals and seem to fight our way to the quarters or the semi, but not necessarily through world class performance each time as other countries do!
Not sure about the next England manager – but it needs someone who has bottle and stands up against the FA and players alike, loves England and who is not afraid to challenged the players, or boot out the bloody WAGS for future tournaments etc… Time for the women to be thrown out and put in place where they belong, and time for the football to be simply football – where players also know their place!
Hopefully the FA will get Sammy Lee or Gareth Southgate in charge. As for Northern Ireland last night, they could barely get a touch of the ball against Spain. Wouldn't have mattered if we had won anyway I suppose.
