Contrary to previous claims I have made to the contrary, Firefox does NOT fucking well prevent the bloody deleting into hyperspace of the long post you were making if you take too long to type the bastard.

The world will therefore have to do without the lengthy review of Eric Clapton's (auto)biography that I spent ages writing and was feeling quite pleased with until it disappeared forever.

At least it was spelt properly though. Not that it matters now.

Well NOOL will still be NOOL no matter how you access it. Even I get that.

Don't they have pubs or clubs where you are, shouldn't you be out on the town??

Too late, but Opera defo DOES save yer arse, all you need to do is hit back and then submit again.

I was often running into the same problem when posting some long-winded digression into the finer points of ontological argument. However a simple expedient has saved many of my longer posts from oblivion in the graveyard of cyberspace.

The solution: "select all" & "copy" (& "paste" to notepad if your really para) every now and then. :D
