has everyone got it all out that they want to fucking say ? can we get back to normal now ?
the recent ban has let others jump up and say who they were pissed off with.thats good
so if thats finished we can maybe leave it to colin for the last word as requested

dont you bloody start stoker,you'll bring back my worst memory.mid 80's,escort back to stoke train station all went pear shaped,was a delayed end cus ref got knocked out during match,so not enough police left on duty for escort by time we came out ground,so we got murdered all the way to station.most worried ive ever been in my life 
Ahh, Hanley and Stoke on a match day. The one time I've experienced that, we were playing at the Talbot Arms and we were told to park our van in the landlord's garage so it wouldn't get completely smashed up. Those were the days.
Nowhere near as bad as New Cross/New Cross Gate.
In London they had bits of pipe and fencing rather than rolled up newspapers

new cross!,been that station late at night,my brother lives old kent road and we were going to a club there.was called 'venue' i think, had a tribute band upstairs.everyone was just sat on floor.good club though

It wasn't New Year's Eve 2004 was it? We were there at Venue.The tribute band was a George Michael one.They were superb although was a bit disappointed 'George' wasn't wearing a George Michael mask like the ones Vic 'n Bob wore in one of their sketches once:\ohwell: We had toyed with the idea of all getting George Michael masks for the evening but didn't get it together in the end.That would have been a bit studenty on reflection actually so i'm glad we didn't

How many different floors and rooms has that place got? We ended up on what i think was the very top floor for the last few hours of the night- The Cult , Joy Div , Roses , James etc .

There were two originally.. then they refurbed upper floor. Then they dug out the basement. So now 4. Top floor is a chilled out indie club with the best music. Holds about 1500 capacity these days.
It used to be a venue where real bands played when it was smaller. I've seen New FADS, Transglobal Underground, Carter USM, Banco, Ocean Colour Scene there in the past. Now its bloody tribute acts. I believe the Smyths have played there, but no Re:Order.
aye rings bells now you mention it used to be a main gig venue.Didn't have the pleasure of meeting any prossies in the toilets but had a few ,erm, encounters with females in a right old labyrinth of a corridoor somewhere, fcuk knows what floor it was

'The Venue' was where we played, all those years ago. Supporting The Subhumans if I remember rightly!
