Thanks to NTL/Virgin Twat faced (...) bastards I have had no remote to my new set top box, meaning my On Demand service has been unattainable and I have missed the last two episodes!

My set-top box has gone tits up. Thing is, I'm not in weekdays (natch) and busy the next couple weekends so fcuk knows when they're gonna come in to fix it. :(

My handset went tits up ages ago though and they posted one to arrive the next day!

You not tried BBC iPlayer? It'll be on there, surely?

What was it with the lack of 80's muzak last night? Hardly any soundbites at all, other than having 'Tom Robinson' bang out his hits.

Thought the series ended really strongly. Last week with Keeley's real-life hubby as the dopey Brummie was comedy genius - that conversation where they namechecked all modern-day boy bands was a sooperb bit of writing. :nod:

Wonder what the theme would be for the next series though? They've done and dusted the Bowie Clown now so they shouldn't even be calling it Ashes to Ashes! :skeptic:

Well I dont want to write too much in case some people havent watched it yet. Lets just say Drake is very selective on her feelings towards each parent. I would have thought knowing what she did would have freaked her out big time.

iPlayer? Chance would be a fine thing - NTL buggered up my broadband too! I had a brand new set top box delivered two weeks ago (luckily I had the day off anyway). Lovely and shiny but no remote control and the engineer fired off before I had the chance to check my broadband worked.

After 4 hours worth of phone calls I finally got through to somebody who gave a fuck who recommended I have a separate modem. They sent me this and it arrived on Thursday. I was told it would be a plug and play thing but when I opened the box, it consisted of 100 cable pins and about 15 miles of cable - if they think I'm doing all that they can whistle.

After several large deep breaths I rang yesterday and told them in no uncertain terms that if they didn't send somebody round next week to sort it out and bring me a new modem and a remote control, then I would be joining Sky immediately. It's being fixed Wednesday. I've also insisted on a months refund and an improved TV package so it's not all bad.

Though, what I couldn't figure out is how Amelia Bullmore looked such an old frump in this ... but was such a fox in the recent Mrs InBetweeny! Surely a swishy pony-tail can't have that much effect on a girl! :skeptic:

It's on ITV. They don't show any ITV programmes on Virign Media 'On-Demand'.

The one BBC1 programme that really gets on my tits for not being available On Demand because of the rights is Match Of The Day.Usually out or doin summat else on a Saturday night and there's no way i'm gonna be around at 7.30 am on a Sunday morn to catch the repeat :nonono:
