Naturally, I don't agree with the question of sterilisation which is pretty nasty in any form of suggestion (probably should have pointed that out in my first reply). But as you've probably guessed, I find her a little irritating 
I just think that the reason she is famous is a gimmick more so than any actual real talent. She does have quite a powerful vocal but that is rarely homed in on by journalists... it's more the fat lesbian angle which she is more than willing to play up to. You can't really blame people for mentioning it as she is making a living off it and discussing it at every turn; she's hardly a shrinking violet in that department and should take any flak accordingly.
NME rarely miss a chance to stick her on the cover gurning in some ludicrous fashion; I find that all a bit naff really.

To be fair there are probably plenty of other legit targets like Ken Livingstone, or indeed the entire population of Bristol. But what really irritated me was the fact that I cant even escape from her, Mika or Paul Mccartney even on the BBC News!!!

Even joking about compulsory sterilisation for someone who's music/image you don't like is fairly twattish. There is nothing funny about such comments.
Saying that there's a politician you don't like implies that there are some politicians who you do like, and that's really odd.

I fucked up my post by editing it too many times before I posted it. I didn't mean to question your decision to air your opinions here, although any grown up with an opinion about Mika is a suspect for many things in my book.
I just meant to say that the rhetoric seemed a little overblown. Unless you actually do think that pop stars who you don't like should be forcibly sterilised, in which case you should get help at once.

Can I just say that I definitely don't support the "compulsory sterilisation" of anyone and was merely mercilessly slagging off a - some might say - overexposed pop star in no way did I mention genocidal extermination (I get up to enough of that at the weekend!) :p
