41 songs....too much, i would not include:
Hot Hot Hot Friday I'm In Love Never Enough Wrong Number The Lovecats Let's Go To Bed Why Can't I Be You
but the encore 1 is great...4 songs from the Seventeen Seconds album![]()
aYE HAD A TEXT FROM the Banshee last neet live and load at Wemberley saying they were the dogs...

Oh enough of all this depressing Cure shite let's brighten things up with some bright sexy throwaway pop!

Not as sexy as Digi Mike but hey.I want a threesome with Digi and Seal though.Hope Mike can wear his traffic warden's jacket....![]()
If New Order ever decided to play one last 'Goodbye' gig, I hope they put a poll online and let the fans vote which songs they should play. Put everything up there, everyone gets say 20 votes - one for each song they'd like to hear.
From that Cure setlist, I'd happily pay a tenner to see their third 'encore' (big headed bastards, why not just say it's part 2 of the set?)
You don't play three pre-planned encores, each lasting a minimum 30 minutes unless you're a fat, pie-eating twa... oh yeah... ![]()

Throw in a case of crisco and some tofu and yer set!
Well, it was good, but it was far too long.
The fact is, if you do forty one songs, all the effectiveness is just diluted. I can barely remember any of the songs that were played. Disintegration was very very good. Lovecats was fucking atrocious.
And god forbid when New Order reform, they forty one songs. Thats forty more than I could take. I seriously would rather go watch Snow Patrol than watch that.
Nice to have a few beers with Dave Clark though. And thank to Al and Gemma for putting me up and making some some top quality bacon sarnies. ![]()

Just to count the points of the poll is already too tiresome for them...
it was ace and we loved it.it was too long because i was drinking beer throughout the long setlist so it was all getting a bit hazy by the end
best bits were the stuff off disintegration album and 17 seconds album .
stupid fucking transport problems, had to walk 2 miles to wembley and 2 miles back to hotel in the cold rain.
that cheap stadium looks very nice lit up ![]()
Saw them live in Athens in September 1st 2005. They played for 3,5 hours and they ended with 'faith'.

This is what you consider alive and well is it? Would love to see what you consider "on their death bed"
Is that real hair? Looks like a Goth troll doll. Just shave yer head Bob and embrace the Uncle Fester look.

Dammit Banshee! I wanted to take a closer look on yer new avatar, but you don't allow it to get any bigger.... kinda hard to tell how she's looking that small.... siouxie was always a hottie in a dark, goth kinda way![]()
mine was big at the time of the siousxie pics ,but this thread is going sideways like someone who has crabs ![]()

Come on you cock-tease, post a larger meg picture of your avatar :mad4:

She was on Jonathan Ross on Friday, was alright but sounded kind of woooahhhh woooooooohhh waoahaoah woahwoawoah like she was slighty drunk or summat.Or maybe it was me that was drunk.

one question...are they using keyboards??
Yeah, of course they will be, you doofus! As a novel diversion from the normal tedium of Cure song after Cure song done exactly like the records, Smith will stop one of their numbers suddenly without warning whereby each member of the band will wheel out a keyboard of their own and resort to a spot of power-typing just to break the sheer monotony of their increasingly tedious and laboured angst-by-numbers student bedsit mope-rock.
I'd definitely like to see that on DVD though! ![]()

I saw her on that programme too - her voice seems to get lower in pitch and more croaky as she goes on. A zillion miles from the crazed power-screeching of the Hong Kong Garden era! ![]()
Whatever happened to her loyal drumming pet budgie though?
![]()
She divorced budgie a while back and siouxie has sought her faith in lady love (so goes the rumour)...
