I watch that programme fairly regularly - when you're in a hotel room with fcuk all else to do at 6pm, then it's either that or watch the news... :p

Out of the many that I've watched, I've probably only seen the Eggheads being beaten 3 times...

Good luck! :thumb:

Well, it is Telford (not that far away from Wolverhampton)! :p

There's the hotel bar (which is empty), a Weatherspoons (which apparently it's not worth going in if you're not local) and, erm, that's it in Telford... Unless you drive and go to Ironbridge/Shifnal...

I'm a bona fide genius so I'd be up for it. Specialist subjects: geography, wine, good all round knowledge, music, films.

We're going to have enough for two teams at this rate. I thought most people would say :nonono:

I have ALL the Right ANSWERS to all the WRONG questions.I used to be in a team called the TWO HATS.We got rumbled cos there were 3 of US.I am GOOD but not GREAT at GENERAL knowledge. But the bastards at MASTERMIND would not let DUSTING 1669-1999 be a RELEVANT subject.I once asked BOB for A Pee.So i will DECLINE.But Good LUCK! :read:

But Mick...

you are an ICON..

So, from the respondents on this thread who posted an interest first, the team would be:

Burt Liam Steve Gaz Me

Kevin as substitute

I have a disturbing feeling that we'd end up too drunk to make it to the TV studio...

Oh well, if all the above agree, I'll get on with the application.

May as well.

Have we got a team name yet?

or is it too early in the day for that?

I love the reactions...

'Go for it' - Gaz

'May as well' - Eeyore

Liam has said 'No' to a NOOL or New Order related team name. If we managed to get accepted, the story would come out anyway. Could always use Fac383 as long as none of the other Vikings objected...

To apply, you need the team members' names, addresses, ages and a proposed team name.

I don't think criminal records need to be divulged. :evil4:

Eggheads v Smegheads

James Thomas wrote: Eggheads v Smegheads

That's quite funny. Not sure that we'd be allowed to use 'Smegheads' even though 'Red Dwarf' was a BBC2 series. Might be a bit too early-evening scheduling.

Kids asking, 'Mummy, what does "smeg" mean?'

Besides, everyone would think we were simply a bunch of sci-fi loonies. Oops, sorry Steve... :evil4:

For those who understand, no explanation is required. For those that dont understand, no explanation will suffice.

using the fac383 number for anything that doesn't involve travelling to see new order just doesn't seem right
