best pub in the world.and it would be in accrington!! my woman is working and its band holiday so i went to a nearby pub were the lads used to go but no many around these's days what a shock, they were all in and pissed. but the shock was the jukebox thing, was amazing.you put 2 letters in i.e. D0 ,and you get list of DOVES tracks!!! ive seen the internet ones you have to wait, but no waiting, straight on!! we got pissed and had doves, new order, elbow, roses, blondie, jam, specials, madness, doves, buzzcocks, kraft, echo, the local lad i kept giving a pound to a lad to keep putting arcade fire on,magic. and loads other stuff on.then at midnight the landlord closed door, dropped the prices of doubles (shorts),and handed ash trays out and said ' smoke at your will people'

i thought i was fucking dreaming, but left at 3 a.m.due to other reasons.great night though

so is that usual at your pub?

We have an internet one in my local. I have educated the staff and most of the customers on the joys of New Order, so it's usually on.

My first experience of an Internet Jukebox was in SCRUFFY DUFFYS in Hells Kitchen, New York.

I was putting a raft of New Order toons on. Taking music to the Barbarians! :ignore: :ignore:

What have they done to deserve that?

The jukebox in retro bar took a pounding from me. One time, me and John came back from Half Man Half Biscuit in Blackpool, got dropped off outside Retro, where we went "just for one more" and then spent the next three and half hours putting on as many LCD and Arcade Fire album tracks and b sides as possible, and a load of other stupid and obscure stuff. Including the 12 minute Crass version of "Yeah" three times.

:abovelol: that's why they refuse to put it at full volume now then.

And yes they tell you it IS at full volume, but they lie:nod:
