Aye, nobody listens to gay disco anymore.
It was the highlight of the set my a country mile, cloth ears.
No the gay disco was fine (a genre i like). But the verve, oasis etc still seem to be peddling the same pub rock anthems which people still dont seem to want to leave behind

Seems to me Ashcroft aint nuffin without the verve,but again thats my pov.

Ah yes, the opinion of a man who clearly thinks the Verve did nothing else but the Urban Hymns singles.
I can't see many similarities between Oasis and The Verve. Oasis do songs, The Verve are more techno-like in the way they their tunes develop.
Of course, you seen one cocky floppy-haired Northerner in front of a band you seen em all.

This is very true.
But then, you'd have to be a complete idiot to think that A Storm in Heaven or A Northern Soul are anything like any Oasis record.
