I make all 6 that I listed. I do keep a couple of cans of Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup in the pantry in case I get a bit ill and don't feel like cooking...

and I'm not Mike, but since you said please, I'll pin this (even though I think you might not be entirely serious about the pinning)...

Considering how shite the board is these days because of all nonsenical crap thats gets posted by certain people, i think the really grat and important topics should be pinned.

And none are more important than this. At least in this part of the board.

I have several soup-er points to make and one question:

I love making soup. I may make some tonight. Carrot is my favourite soup to make. Or carrot and tomato. With corriander in it.

My favourite soup from a can is Heinz Chicken. I can't stand mushrooms.

Most people consider that I put too much pepper in my soup. They can all fuck off.

And now the quesion:

What is tortilla soup?

And a bonus question:

Has anyone seen Tortilla Soup? A lovely film, a love letter to cooking.

Its like yer favorite Mexican dish in soup form:

If you haven't had it, highly recommend trying it out... I don't really like soups all that much (as I like something to BITE into), but I get excited anytime I can get my hands onto this...

Yes: I make a fucking mean broccoli & goats cheese soup with roasted garlic sprinkled on top.

Beat that, soup-loving motherfuckers!

While the board descends into nonsensical tedium elsewhere, we can always rely on Martin to keep the standards high.

I make a fucking top Wild nettle soup. Although your soup does sound excellent as well Martin.

Hell, both sound damn tasty to me! :food:

For the record, yes, I make my own Chicken Noodle Soup, though sometimes I add corn, peas and broccoli to the soup. Very very tasty.

1] Hot and Sour Soup 2] Chicken Noodle soup [preferably mom-made or me-made] 3] Tuscan Tomato soup

Someone's going to say "your Mam's is too salty" so it might as well be me.

Too salty? I'll tell her to sort it..even though she'll say "Do one Goldilocks"as that's something a Goldilocks Gums might complain about...

This thread has degenerated into another thread based loosely on Jeff's balls, clearly.

I've been buying a couple of cans each of Heinz tomato and chicken soup each time I've been to the shop recently. I've just gone into the cupboard and found that there was only one chicken left, and three (that's right THREE) cans of tomato. I knew I should have tomato, to redress the balance a little but instead I went for chicken anyway.

From these facts I can only conclude that I prefer chicken soup to tomato and I will adjust my buying habits accordingly.

Has anyone else been spending a bit too much time on their own recently?
