Attitude and outlook.

Expect nothing, you'll get nothing. Weirdly enough, women are people too, so just treat them how you'd want to be treated.

There's no cut off age. The last person to ask me out was 22 and I'm 40 FFS...

surely you mean aslong if its legal age of consent, though, cant see myself wanting to date an underage girl, with all the legal problems that will induce

How many dates have you had? It is a numbers game, the more people you meet the better the odds that you'll find someone that you like and who likes you back, the ones that go nowhere are useful as practise or for anecdotes or for slagging off with your mates.

the problem is that whenever i date the girls, they tend to want to drag me to the back of the cafe, now, tell me if thats a good thing, or a bad thing? if you want to go out with someone, wouldnt you want to show the world, the person you are dating, and sit them nearest possible to the window? I took them to restaurant/starbucks/and a wine bar, all of them took me to the back of the establishment

Could be they want privacy with you to talk. Sounds like your disecting these things way too much. If they were really that disappointed in being with you, then they wouldn't have accepted a date with you surely...
