Well?
Doesn't it also have Dill in it, hence the name (or is that too obvious)?
:p

Yeah, but its not the majority ingredient is it? Why cant they just call it "Pickled Cucumbers"?
The thing is, I've managed to acquire some Dill, (hence rendering my newly planted dill pots useless) and now I've got to acquire a shitload of cucumbers. ![]()
how do you redeem a hollinday sauce?
not that i'm bothered but on a ferry trip to Esjberg many moons ago it was heated topic for the whole of the crossing but i forgot the outcome
Pickled Cucumbers and of course herrings are my favourite appetisers while drinking vodka, cheers

Because somebody was complaining about not being able to get good Dill Pickle in this country. So I said that I would make some for them.
Isn't the dill just there for seasoning the vinegar? :)
The actual vegetable that is being pickled is, essentially, a gherkin! ![]()

Will Dill do?
well, it sure does suck to be you.
You could make some Bread though. self Raising flour, bit of yeast, and water. let it relax for half an hour, roll it out so it become a flat bread, bake it for eight minutes, whack some cheese on and then grill it.
I know a lad called Dill, but I'd much rather have some Warby's toastie.
I've got a packet of Frazzles left, but I might just have a bowl of cereal.
Or, can somebody concoct something from...
Eggs, spring onion, half a pepper, a potato and some sour cream.
(Spanish omelette is too obvious)

Bake the Potato. scoop out the flesh.
fry the pepper, the spring onion and preferably a red onion as well. Mix with sour cream and the potato flesh. Put back into the empty potato shells. Put in the oven for ten or fifteen minutes, while you poach the egg, and serve on top.
you could also grate some cheese over as well.
