Whats the rarest thing you've ever seen?

If you find one of their branches that they use then kingfishers are a DELIGHT to watch.It does help if you have ALL the time in the WORLD to idle away your days.At the moment i have so match time on my hands i think i will discover BIGFOOT that has been lurking in DUXBURY WOODS.It may just be the find of this CENTURY! NB there are NO jobcentres in the woods and thus i feel SAFE.

THE common PORPOISE that i saw in SCOTLAND(Dumfries and Galloway) recently was a TREMENDOUS sight.

Kingfishers are grand. My favorite birds to see that have become scarce in the area now-a-days are the roadrunner and quail. Both are hard to find, but when you do it is delight.
When the roadrunner runs, it bursts instantly into its fast speed, you can't see the legs moving, and no matter how bumpy the ground is, the body always stays in a perfect straight line, then it stops instantanously... it seems to defy physics. Then the quail are great when you get to see a family of them walking around.they follow each other in a straight line similar to ducks, but unlike ducks the babies never wander or seem distracted... looks like some royal family on parade...

last night i saw a fox having a wee about five yards away, as i sat in a bit of 'green space' opposite a pub in the middle of london.

maybe that'd be commonplace for some, but it's not the sort of thing i see every day.

Never heard them ever make a sound, pretty quiet things. I do think he was wearing an ACME pin however, and we do have a bit of coyotes around here probably after him as well

It's extremely commonplace. I ran over one having a dump in the road not that long ago.

Still see plenty of quail in these parts, mostly in the Scio/Crabtree area east of Albany, there's a bevy of 'em who seemed to have nested near the barn next to one of our accounts; everytime I drive up next to it, they proceed to head to the nearest blackberry thicket, in the manner you described. I also caught sight of a couple of bald eagles sitting in tree tops right along 99 south of Shedd last summer; I pulled to the side about 20 yards from them, and just watched them survey the countryside below, until they grew bored at this particular location after 5 minutes.

New order wise it would have yo be the 24 hour party people "slide" book. Similar sort of thing to the flicker book,but there is only one rivet in the corner of the "book" and the pages slide out. Tis a mega rare uk/french promo item only available at the Cannes premiers of 24hr pp and there were only 50 PRESSED!
