... the following (now that I returned from a 13 day holiday in Wales (and Bath as last stop))...

...most male GBs are bald headed, tatooed, scary looking guys who wear football or rugby shirts

...Tesco is the main temple of capitalism (you can really get lost in there)

...there's more sheep in Wales than humans

And my contribution to New Order-Spotting: We were next to a 50th birthday party on a camping ground one day. They made a big event out of it with huge party tent and laser-lightshow (while playing the complete "Darkside of the moon" by Pink Floyd). The played "Blue Monday" later that evening (right at the time when I went to 'bed').

Glad you enjoyed it. I think I'm going to have a trip to Wales. I haven't been for years. Wouldn't mind going seeing Welsh Darren and Ness in their natural habitat.

 Welsh sheep are hung like llamas

Why would you hang a sheep or a llama? I'm ringing the RSPCA

I was at a party on a farm in Northants two weekends ago.

The neighbouring farm had eight llamas in their back field - they're used for trekking on corporate days out.

The dirty fcukers actually spit! :nono:

There are a couple in a field round the corner. Apparently they're there to protect the sheep.

They're very friendly but I try not to get to close because of the spitting. They also remind me of the time a stinking and slobbering camel stuck it's head through my open car window and dribbled all over me at a Safari Park.

Not a pleasant experience.

Llamas to protect sheep? They'll spit thieves to death or what?

They are there to deter foxes and the like. I have it on good authority that a fox will not go within a sizable radius of a llama.

Spot on! I reckon we must be the most tatooed nation in Europe. It strikes me that at the first sign of baldness the average British male goes and shaves his head.

Bring back the days of the combe over, thats what I say :thumb:

So all those guys were from London? :skeptic:

I'm going to London in mid-September 15.9-17.9. The main task is to attend a Six.by Seven gig at the Scala on the 16th. :love2:
