How does a country have a "surplus" when it still has a deficit? Clinton only put money in one spot and called it a surplus and it made everyone feel all warm and fuzzy inside, but we still had a trillions in deficit.... maybe my idea of saving and owing is different???
2- Allowed the US sub prime market to get totally out of control, thus causing the credit crunch, and thus causing the global economic problem we have today.
This was ACTUALLY caused by Clinton's policies for Fanny mae and Mac, and the Clinton administration already took responsibility for it... it wasn't deliberate and I think they had the best interests in the policy, as Bush also ran with the same policy, but that policy failed.:reading:
3- fucked up so badly with his South Asian and Middle Eastern policy which basically meant that Islamic Fundamentalism increased globally on an unprecedented scale
As if any ME policy in the last 1000 years has gone well. The West and ME haven't gotten along. A stab at a new way to do things... did it work? We will have to wait and see as it is still in progress...

Any issue 9 months into office is always considered the past adminstrations issues... hell they are learning the job at 9 months, not getting knee deep in crap... I would blame Clinton, but US policy was different before 9/11 and kept them from really being able to do anything proactive... Bush changed to a proactive way of handling things... unhappy that he's proactive and the way he's handling things, but at the same time wanting him to be proactive through a rearview... yer a hypocrite.
6- Increase in homicide
??? Seriously WTF? How does Bush have anything to do with this? He has no control over local governments... this makes absolutely no sense...

Economy is bad, yes... but a complete collapse? He's a lame duck president, look at the last time the economy crashed... it was... let me think... ummm... right before the elections when Clinton was a lame duck as well! HOLY SHIT! Could it be people are f'ing idiots and any bit of uncertianty and they start pulling thier money out of Wall Street, causing a collapse... they are called cycles....
Of course it sure doesn't help we are transfering all our money into to foriegn countries for oil, but that isn't a Bush issue, that's a "we don't have enough oil, but we want to mass consume it" idea in the populace... and before anything is said, only 30% comes from the ME, most comes from Mexico, Canada and South America....
You know, considering Mccain wants to extend the Tax Cut, keep troop numbers at the same level in Iraq, has suggested nothing that would actually work to fix the US economy.

ummm... change is nice and would be great, but ummmmm... actually HOW is he going to do it? Going from a far right leaning presidency to a far left leaning presidency is change I guess... but far anything is not good for the country.....
on your other post, I agree McCain's economic policy isn't going to fix much, but the same goes for Obama's plan... this isn't my opinion, rather the opinion on CNN.... watch some news it might ACTUALLY enlighten you...
