As I posted previously, the dems are scared to death that their own base (especially in the Rust Belt) will be the ones who are swayed by something as trivial as the phrase "B. Hussein". As for trotting out the n-bomb, again, that's much more of a possibility of that to happen behind closed doors on the dems side than the Republicans. Except, down here in good ol' Texas the phrase would most likely be negro, said in a spanish accent. This just keeps getting better and better. I'm guessing the pucker factor for anti-Republicans (because we have sooooo many politically unaffiliated folks around here) is running pretty high.

Who cares if B. Hussein doesn't refer to himself as B. Hussein? What kind of argument is that? GWB doesn't call himself "Shrub" and Sen. John McCain doesn't refer to himself as "McShame". Yet, you and people like you continue to use those names. Big whoop.

The only voters you worry about scaring are your own. That says alot about your base, especially in the Rust Belt. I'd love to be a fly on the wall in a union hall in Philly when the subject of presidential politics comes up.

Is calling politicians and candidates by names other than the ones they use in order to give a sense that you don't like the person a low blow? Yes.

Do I personally use them? No.

But there really is no difference between people using them on either sides like you are trying to imply. You are just being overly sensative on someone using the same tactics for your own candidate.

As for the name implying something untrue, the same goes for proponents against McCain that say McSame, trying to imply that he has the exact policies of the feared Bush administration. Any look upon his voting record and the well known dissent within his own party would prove this is not the case...

In both cases people are trying to excite thier bases to ensure people go out and vote. I personally don't like the tactic, but its hard to point the finger when both sides are doing the same thing.

If you're refering to B. Hussein possibly being a muslim, you're right. I wasn't the one to bring it up. As a matter of fact, I'm the one who said there is no reason to believe he is.

If you're refering to the catastrophic meltdown that's going to happen in Denver, that is news.
