In line with Liams forum re-designation and the fact we have forum 28 for football, I propose Cambo has his own forum for everything computer related and motor racing.

Broken hearted. The last few laps were some of the best racing I've EVER seen, I was cackling madly about "good old Spa, delivering the goods again".

And then someone just DECIDES.....nahhhhh Massa won.

Fuck that.

Nothing either Kimi or Lewis did was anything other than hard racing.

And as for "passed by missing the chicane"....L O FUCKING L

try....was knocked wide by Kimi, let Kimi through so as not to gain any advantage.....then fucked the shit slow fucker down into T1 again.

I've never EVER begrudged the Red Cars a win at Monza, but now I hope next weekend ends in tow huge white clouds of Italian engine bits.

Seems to be true.....a black chap in a flash car will always have a hard time from the law.

That's the first race where I've been happy about a McLaren win. Hamilton won it fair and square by being the best driver.

It may have been confusing for Kimi when Lewis was circling him like that. The argument may be that the advantage of cutting the chicane continued into turn 1 as it wasn't clear what line to block. That's the only reason I can think of for the penalty, as Lewis returned the lead as soon as he could. This is bollocks though: it's a racing driver's job to handle situations like that. If anything, Kimi's exit from T1 was reckless. I thought he'd clipped the back of the Mclaren? His cool had certainly gone, no surprise when he binned it shortly after.

If not downright corruption, this smells of an attempt to try to sanitise any kind of sport out of F1 by penalising good, aggressive (and, for a change, interesting) driving.

And, as someone's said on the BBC website, as Kimi didn't finish there was no position advantage anyway.

You are right, there was no reason to disqualify Lewis in my opinion.

Oh, it is not the point I think, damn it is just the car race.

Oh and finally - Heidfeld on 3rd position, fook me, good shot.

he wasn't disqualified, he was guiven a disproportionate time penalty

another example of why f1 is wrong & should not be tolerated, if it was a ferrari that had done that the result would have stood.

give me moto gp racing anyday

I know what happened, he got 25 sec. penalty, he lost P1 after damn fookin exciting race - it is a kind of disqualification, no doubt.

I think the stewards decision may have made sense if two conditions were different.

  1. Had Lewis not ended up on said escape apron because Kimi had rammed him (and, I'll be clear here, it was a totally fair ram).
  2. And had it been DRY! Their reasoning seems to be that even though he did the decent, correct, gentlemanly (and not the least....REQUIRED) thing, of letting Kimi past again......he got a tow that enabled him to pass into T1. Now apart from the fucking obvious.....that if Lewis had tucked in behing Kimi at the chicane instead of irresponsibly trying to OVERTAKe (what a cunt eh?)....he'd have come out with his nose pressed right up the cheeks of Kimbot's diffusor; there remains the stark staring obvious....Kimbot's cheatmobile was simply no longer at the match. RedCar+slicks+rain=wiggle wiggle wall.....and Lewis could have overtaken him from a mile back into that corner, FFS Kimi saved his arse from about 4 spins in that one braking zone (before hitting Lewis again).

This whole thing would be bad enough if it were not for Massa getting off scot fucking free with the pitlane incident during the valencia bore-a-thon (and at that time, I was quite vocal, to anyone who'd listen, that Massa should NOT lose his win as that would be too severe, then, just as in thise case, the penalty should have been a grid shift, or deletion of fastest times at the next race.)

I've been joshing about racism in these cases (though, half seriously in the case of Reichfuhrer Moseley), but in addition to the rules being either wildly pro Red, or anti McRon......WTF is with the booing when Lewis is on the podium? Only time I think I ever heard booing before, apart from Austria 2002, where it was SOUNDLY deserved......I mean, you may be a braindead tifoso, who dislikes anyone non-Red, but nobody can say Lewis is guilty of great crimes on track, racing incidents a-plenty yes, but cheating or risking competitors lives? Hardly. Between that and the "comedy gollywogs" of Barcalona, I just don't know any more.

hamilton made a move on final chicane of lap, kimi kept his nose in front, held racing line, in doing so, he cut in front of hamilton, who had only two options, cut left to avoid accident, or hold ground, kill both cars and fuck the race for both of them. he took the sensible option, gave back position before the start/finish line. at which point racing should resume on fair, level playing feild, no advantage gained, game on. next corner, outbrakes kimi, takes lead, end of story, the best race i have ever seen, amazing drama, amazing driving, TWATS FOR OFFICIALLS!!!!!!

I THINK they actually touched?

Either way, the whole thing was 100% fair....and a damn sight more interesting than fucking valencia (NICE move their Bernie).

So, I'm after a machine pair of white plumes from Maranello grenades, right in the middle of the tribuna retifillio next Sunday. (doubtless followed by McRon being excluded for.....ernnnn...we'll think of something).

Shit.....there's a thought.......McRon have appealed....and we all know what happens when anyone (except the Red Cars) appeal......sentence is increased, without fail :(

Just give the cunts the trophie now and save us this agony.

and wasnt the 25 secon drive through penalty added 3 hours after the end of the race?!?!?!?!?!, surely the officials only have a fixed time limit to enforce such measures ?!?!?!?

Ron and Lewis should return the winners champagne they drank by pissing in a cup and lobbing it over Bernie at the next grid walk.

Is that how they determined the 25 sec penalty: because that's how much time would be lost with a 10 sec drive though? It would be more than that, wouldn't it?

Either way, it's nothing but bent for whatever reason.

Bernie's a tool - did you see him insisting that one of the pit crew's credentials were showing, even though his were tucked inside his jacket?
