I listen to Radio 2 fairly regularly.Alex Lester on the way to work early morn. But only because i'm too old to put up with Radio 1 at 5.30 am during the week. There's always been something about Johnnie Walker i don't like.... i don't know..he's just too serious.I guess i just don't like his voice.Much rather listen to Wogan.Ken Bruce is pretty entertaining, lively and funny.
Johnnie are you becoming a TOG?
Ken Bruce is a bit slimey, but I always get a good score on Popmaster.
The reason you don't like Johnnie Walker is he grew up in Soh-li-hull; or soly-hull to you heathens.........
C'mon though, he knows his stuff! AND he used to ride a Harley; OK now he has a motor home....it happens! ![]()
(we won't mention the coke tho!)
Does anyone know if he's had any involement with the new Smiths greatest hits album? According to this week's NME, Johnny Marr has been involved with the track selection and re-mastering. Yet Morrissey's semi official website states the latest best of album is purely down to Warners and should be avoided.

TOG ? I presume that stands for Tired Old Git?![]()
Ken Bruce "slimey" ? Hadn't thought of him as that but maybe from a woman's point of view he may seem like that? Thought his deep Scottish tones would have appealed to women of a certain age ?
Was listening to Annie Nightingale's radio 1 show at about 5 o'clock this morning.Kin ell she's still avin it "large" ain't she! Does sound like she's permanently got her false teeth stuck in her gob though these days.Respect to her though

Isn't that referring to the 'Morrissey live at the Hollywood Bowl' release?
I read that Marr and Mozz were working together on remastered releases of all the Smiths albums.
Which will be nice.
Dunno about the greatest hits though.
