Barney's a great inspiration when you're learning, simply because he's not very advanced and you can get his sound pretty quickly, then work and work to try to play those simple things as well as him (and good luck with that).

You start by getting inspired by Johnny Marr and you're soon chucking the bastard thing out of the window and going down the pub.

you have 4 weeks to learn ceremony btw

i promise you after you've mastered it, you'll never stop playing it, its always the first song i play when picking it, even after 4years and it probably will be in 14 years time

if you ever need tab's help advice for when you hit the brick wall i'm sure you got the backing of 100's of obsessive
