So I can just pop in V for Vendetta and I'm set?

You should just shoot a bunch of fireworks off on 4 July...

I really used to lust after Guy Ritchie (pre Madonna), and I've never fancied Guy Pearce but he's called Guy and so was included.

You're right Noley, Beardy, gravelly voiced, slightly portly Garvey is the bestest

I thought it was because The Heath (soil and plants) were a darker colour than the fields round the Thames that it overlooked? :)

When I went there last Friday, however, I didn't notice any difference! :p

I just googled it, and it seems to be a contentious issue. I've always been told that the pits on Blackheath were used for plague victims after the 1666 plague (I thought), although the name Blackheath was already in use by then. Just seen references to it being used as a burial ground after the Black Death in the 1340's, and then some references to it all being a load of old bollocks.

Normally, there is no smoke without fire, and it sounds like a thing for Time Team, as no one has ever really dug the area.

I would guess that if Neil Rhinds says it's not so, then... :)

Does Bonfire night have something to do with Samhain or Hallow's Eve? It seems like there is many different things mixed together over the centuries, all having something to do with dead people this time of year.
