Utter nonsense, I've heard 'em, and their bassplayer plays at a very reasonable level, so you're just wrong. (as you can see, the criteria by which I judge bands are somewhat limited).
But the one thing you'll notice ocncerning that is that Mr. Dengler actually knows how to play the damn thing, and have ti in tune with the other instruments.

True, though in fairness in the Hookster's case, it's usually someone ELSE who's outta tune.
Being able to play=optional Big amp+unhealthy attitude=mandatory.
Besides, anyone on the human side of Victor Wooten is a hack ;)

Great live band. Have only seen them live the once though. Interpol with Franz Ferdinand as support, twas a great gig.
