Isn't there a Smiths reunion rumour EVERY year just to hype up a festival or sell papers?![]()
It will NEVER happen!

Aye, it's as sure as every January on SOME F1 site you'll get "Lotus to return?" and "Minardi(now Force India I suppose) quickest in testing".
Because journos have the attention span of a decaying poodle turd, they reckon the rest of us do as well. Sadly in the overwhelming majority of cases they are correct.
My money is on "palpable humbug" BTW, as his rebuttal, and probably one of his hobbies.

........and Sound o' the Biffs is out sooooooooon......
"RHUBARB, RHUBARB"......would say the mozz.......
Class tune that, in common with many by the smiths.
However, I missed the boat on them a bit, cos I never could really like mozzer, or even tolerate his fucking diciples.
Note the typical discimination in that clip. Bass player ripping it up a treat (hope nobody who slagged Duran off likes that track!).....and what do we get.....close-ups of chords being strummed on a fucking guitar. Bassism I tell thee, BASSISM.
Thank God we have Hooky and Claypool and Wobble and Wooten to stand up for us in a world of morons making widdly widdly noises.
great video I love the version from the tube but it doesn't have the lunacy of the dancing. and cambo the bassline is absolutely tops and played to perfection but it is the same four bars throughout the entire song (with the exception of the last 2bars) so the camera really only needs to focus on rourke for about 20 seconds of the 6 minute track.... then it can dwell lovingly on the excellent noodling and trick funkery of mr marr
for better examples of the unrecognised art of rourke listen to the bass work on this charming man, william, heaven knows
Bored of Morrissey to the point of saturation but even more bored of the middle class students that still worship him.
