Perfect Symmetry has 3 songs I think are among the best they've done - Spiralling, Lovers Are Losing and the title track. The rest is really, really average. Their old B-Sides are better than most stuff on there!

Absolutely. I hope they get back to their best soon.
I've just listened to the latest Pendulum album In Silico and it is brilliant. I wouldn't have got into drum 'n' bass if it wasn't for these guys. Pity about the new video.

Aye i'm not taken by Pendulum at all. Nowt orginal. As you say , Bert, Prodigy did it all, much MUCH better, over a decade ago.

It probably will be.. I've heard most of it, and the huge bidding war that broke out amongst labels in the Autumn sounds justified. Bring on death disco

Besides, the Prodigy hath returned with this, and new album to follow in February. It's ace, but only if you turn it up loud and piss off the neighbours, as I'm doing right now.
Not bad. Obviously recognizably Prodigy. Couldn't get it to play that loudly on my earphones here and don't want to wake the neighbours up again with the speakers.It probably sounds better at full volume, like you say.
could also have included... Hot Chip, Teenagers, Elbow, KOL, Weller, foals, japanese popstars.
I don't agree with the people saying it was a shite year for music. Probably just age/cynicism...
