I for one was impressed. Good speech. Glad to see conviction upon the the ideas and beliefs that our Founding Fathers had. may that be his main goal to preserve, and may the party agendas of the Left and Right be forgotten.

Don't know who was saying that Jeff. Most of the people I spoke to were saying "oh shit, he's gonna cripple the world and kill loads of people in the process".

But what did we know, eh?

Well, if he stays middle ground and tries to stay the course of our Founding Fathers then I'll support him all the way. If he starts take a steep dive towards left field (like he was as a Senator) then I'll jump ship faster than Cuban stow-away docking into a Floridian port.

I think the one upside, and why I believe his speech isn't just well written and rehearsed, is that he came from the lower side of life that dreams of greatness by examples, such as our Founding Fathers... not just a silver-spoon fed kid that wants the highest power...

...but then we'll see which is the case when his policies turn into actions. Stary eyed dreamer -or- a good politician

I could honestly care less, since whites and blacks won, he is half black. Therefore, I don't see the "history" made. Just another posh fad, that'll crash soon after the first few policies.
