Come on, seriously??? Do any of those stand up to the likes of Bernard Butler or Will Sargent?

In case any of them drops into this thread, I feel the need to send mad love and respect to:

Richard Thompson, Kevin Shields, Buckethead, Daniel Ash, Adrian Belew, Phil Manzanera, Andy Summers, Lindsey Buckingham, Billy Bremner, Kurt Ralske, Sterling Morrison, Richard Lloyd, Bob Bogle, and Duane Eddy.

Even if none is considered the greatest guitarist ever, each has kept me interested and surprised.

Of course Johnny Marr is the best, followed closely by me, then Tim Jauncey.

The Odor has spoken.

 er...yeh, page wipes the floor with most people, as does clapton, jack white is pretty handy, and the other two are very good at what they do.

Who are Bernard Butler and Will Sargent? Never heard of them :uhoh: .

I guess you've never been to a Dire Straits / Mark Knopfler-or Clapton concert. I recommend that to you heavily. Great guitarists are in my opinion defined by being able to play more than chords. And those guys I mentioned can really play the guitar - believe me. ;)

Michael Jackson can knock out some great riffs (Beat It, Dirty Diana and Black and White).

Incidently I heard recently he's sold out. I thought he sold out years ago!

At least you didn't call me Nazi curry-boy. That's kind of a plus for you. Maybe you just act like stupid. It's always a shame that rudeness has to fill in when arguments run out.
