Well while messing around with google earth to see what streeview had in terms of WOTW country, guess what I found.......

Go to woking, find Horsell, North of Horsell you will find an area of scrub, Horsell Common, where the Martians first landed. About 200m North of the northern edge of the common (as it is now), The McRon Technology Centre and Bond Villain Base!
