Just got tickets for Mudhoney at some small club in Leeds October 10. It's one of three UK dates, the others being Edinburgh and London. If you like Pearl Jam this lot are the real deal.
Can't wait.

Sounds like you're grooming Hooky's kid.
TOUCH ME I'M SICK!!!
Yeah, it always makes me laugh when Pearl Jam are cited as a good band when there's Mudhoney. I also spend a lot of time at work trying to persuade the Nirvana obsessives, there's loads of them.

the nirvana obsessives..theresa's son is a big kirk coban fan and i keep trying to play him Pixies tracks to show him where the influence came from, its kind of working :)
I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but I had a ticket to go and see Mudhoney back in 1988 (or was it 1989?), but couldn't go because I got the flu... I *think* it was at the Astoria?
Tad and a (very early) Nirvana were the support acts - back when they were on the Sub Pop label...
Sweet Young Thing Ain't Sweet No More! :)
