Did you bring me some rock?????
Despite it's obvious tackiness, I've always had an affection for Blackpool and have spent many a happy weekend there in my late teens and beyond. I haven't been there since New Order in 2006, but will actually be going next Saturday for Ess' birthday.
I doubt we'll be doing the Tower, but we'll report back on the other attractions - namely a mad hour on the Pleasure Beach, several Pubs and a Club. I'm determined to get Bonz in a Kiss Me Quick hat.
Hmmmm, I wonder if that Guest House will let me back in...

your right about scarborough boaty.its a very decent resort.me and theresa had good night out with lord and lady steve nuts there one easter. however i must say though that way up coast from you,but still north east is of course whiteley bay!!. the biggest, shittest tack hole ive ever been on a saturday night out stag do.the sunday morning after it was basically shut bar dozens of other stag lads with nowhere to eat or die.only think open was a newagents selling papers and hard porn with the owner telling lads he had vids of anal, cum shots etc, while selling an old woman her sunday paper.i hated the place
btw i bloody love my sisters area with durham town ![]()
Durham City is a class apart.Lovely gaff,steeped in history,well worth a visit.
Now,Whitley Bay.What can I say in it's favour without telling lies...
Oh I know,it's not as bad as Seaton Carew.
But that is probably still a lie.![]()
It used to have a fucking brilliant corkscrew and ice rink when we were kids though.FACT...
It's not big and it's not clever, but I saw Erasure there in 89..
There,I've said it![]()
Don't get me wrong,I never paid money to see them or anything as zany as that. Andy Bell made his outfits out of a few old Cadbury Bars and a lot of time and patience,if memory serves..
The support were Jesus and the Mary Chain. They were good.
Surrounded by Larry Grayson types,I must have been the hardest there in my Levis 501's and straight as fuck Nike Wally Waffles,easily....By a mile.
Went to Whitley bay for a night out once. After a couple of pubs we decided it was absolute gash and caught a taxi into Newcastle
