Big Brother Axed

I remember listening to the Steve Wright show on BBC Radio 2 in 2000 and remember one of the senior Channel 4 producers saying that "It would be interesting to see how ten strangers brought in and left in a house would react.". I couldn't believe what I was hearing, and ten years of shameless TV (the BBC are now at it too with The Stig) has not changed my opinion one bit.

This is the same TV channel that held the rights to broadcast live American Football for years, only it couldn't find space in their schedules. Brookside too, was the best soap opera on TV (certainly the funniest), and they went and axed that too.

Given that it's from the Stoke locale, I agree.

See,every cloud...

First Tuncay and *Huth* now this welcome telly twist..

*If you get more than 12 games a season out of the crocked cunt, you'll be laughing teacakes(and selling him to Arsenal,or flash with the cash Spurs, come January...he's the new Gary Pallister..cunts)

I still can't believe how cheaply you losers got Tuncay and Huth for..Have a look at Tuncay playing for Turkey on Youtube. Good business Tony Pulis, now shut that transfer fucking window while we still have the even better homegrowns,Johnson and Wheater, and stave off the riot.I fucking hate what Boro are doing

Jeff Stelling,Cris Kamara,Chris's wife Pam,the vigilant attendance officer of the local secondary school and the posthumous Brian Clough, natch,do not like this selling crac either.

Not sure what's irresponsible about driving fast on a runway with full safety support (if it is irresponsible in a small, nimble car, what kind of spastics are guys that hurl 200 tonnes down them at 160mph....or airline pilots as they are known).

Mr H's accident proves that speed doesn't kill at least.....since obviously if speed were the cause of road deaths, since his accident was te fastest in UK history, he should be deader than anyone else ever has been. What kills is the fact that road cars are made of tinfoil, have no proper safety systems (cage, harness, built in fire equipment, odd since they were happy enough to nick fuel intertia switches and ABS from racing cars), and that the roads are full of morons, behind wheels an on foot.

I've seen rally cars reverse and continue from accidents 10x as bad as those that turn road car occupants into chunky salsa. This is why when I eventually bother to get a license, I'm buying an ex-competition car....a mini or a MK-II escourt, something that's not too quick, but nippy, and boy-racer-cretin-in-a-corsa proof.

The key to Stoke's transfer success:

Tony Pulis: "Right, Tuncay, what I want you to do is run round at 100mph for the first half and then I'll pull you off at half-time."

Tuncay: "That sounds great, Mr Pulis. All I got at 'Boro was a cup of tea and an orange!"

The old ones are, of course, the best.

Wasn't Barbara Woodhouse the one that trained dogs? In my heart of hearts I know you meant Mary Whitehouse, but the thought of balding middle aged men tutting along to Big Bro and muttering "Walkies!" under their breath is much funnier.

Also, another small point of order, Hammond's accident was a result of mechanical failure, not "driving like a cunt"...

Ah yes. Good spot. Like the 80s as a whole, grey-haired old women on telly all tend to merge into one with me. Can we call it a Freudian slip?

As for 'mechanical failure': should I read that as " Honestly, I don't know what happened, officer. There must have been a mechanical failure or something...."

And they don't put 80's supreme pop superstars and icons A-ha on TV enough.
