Did you ever see them live Mr E?

An' let's not forget darlin' I shared a cab once with the delightful Miss Laverne (in 1997 in Glasgow outside King Tut's Wah Wah Hut) before I even realised what friggin' band she was in......she flagged it doon just as we were aboot ta pull off funnin' tha' I was one of her mates....I had ta forgive her an' all cos she was pretty none the worse for wear from havvin' doon'd a few jars!! Crazy lass!

I think she was pretty much living in Glasgow at that time coz she was seeing the fella from Arab Strap.

I used to love seeing Kenickie live - especially when they did their speed punk version of We Go Together from Grease -Ramalamalama indeed!

Awreet - don't tell me - she was on the drink = loss of pride = lover's tiff. I presume?? Dear knaas.... Fook me this is gettin' seriously unreal!!! I just hope she never let on to her fella that she bundled into a cab with me then... why do I aalways find meself in situations like these?.... oo-er....

P.S. It's only just occurred to me at this late hour where they got their name Kenickie from - now you've just jogged me memory from what ye've mentioned there!!!

I like dueling vocalists, especially when the two have very distinct and contrasting styles.
