Lovable old racists Chas and Dave have split up.

Hard to believe how big they were all those years ago.

Do you actually live in the real world anymore Colin?

A quick google for the term "Chas and Dave racists" and the first result that came up was this.

Oooh... the big racists!

These loveable racists were also known to play notable racist events such as Glastonbury and support notable far right bands like The Libertines.

I wonder if good deaths (or endings) come in threes too? Chas and Dave down and it's not even afternoon tea time.

Maybe when I get up for work, Max Moseley will be dead (or preferably dying, in agony, live on news24), and Redmond, Seatle will be englufed in flames

(was using vista last night to try and play "Twin Town" in an acceptable way, therefor I have more MS-hate than usual today, and was at one point wishing the plagues of Egypt on every twat who even held an MSCE.....and 15 types of cancer on Gates....what I wish for Balmer though is actually a bit nastier.)

EDIT: it occurs to me that Liam's broadband would be another cool demise, but I can't think of which of my two options above I'd be able to do without.

Who's gonna sing songs for Tottingham now? :(

A French lad from work booked them for his wedding a fair few years back. I thought that was quite cool at the time. He lives in Hoxton and owns a couple of record labels now though - you know the type.

I live in the past, Liam. I remember the cheeky songs with lyrics like "he aint black, he was just born in a smoky room" that pervaded popular culture during my youth and enabled ingrained racism to cling on after it was socially acceptable to be openly rude to coloured people.

"It's only a bit of fun".

I don't know Chas or Dave, but in my mind they are representative of a culture of mean jibes and crap jokes about the colour of people's skin that I hate more than I hate open racism. My ignorance of the current activities of Chas and Dave is due to the fact that I don't really give a fuck about them, and would consider any anti-racist activity to be too little too late.

As for left-wing, they were open supporters of Margaret Thatcher and can fuck off for that as well.

Surely the reason the wretched old crone got voted in again and again was precisely because estuary proles enjoying the South East's economic boom supported her en masse.
