I'll agree with 1 2 3 and 5, but this shit is WHY I WANT TO LIVE!!!
The interlectule conversation For exciting new topics that are not related to New Order To learn new things about sex (cheers Frads) To listen to people's exciting news about new bands To learn more about Politics.
My top five reasons, or five reasons that people do??
in no particular order
1.They are wasted 2.They like winding people up/trolling 3.They have nothing better to do 4.They have something better to do but are putting it off 5.They have an overwhelming desire to be the spelling and punctuation police
mine
1.I'm wasted 2.I have nothing better to do 3.I have something better to do but can't be arsed 4.Boredom 5.I think it might be interesting or amusing for peeps

thats reasons for reading, not posting no?
- Being bored
- Wanting to kill time online
- Maybe there's something on the forums that I want to talk about

are you getting into new bands now shug? check out this noisy lot
the twilight sad (go for their first album, not the second released this year) - they have a tour ep with a cover of 24 hours on it the joy formidable we were promised jetpacks the pains of being pure at heart
& this not so noisy lot from this year temper trap the xx the veils soap & skin
To wind friends up To wind others up To relieve boredom at work To plan for future gigs/meet ups To learn (every days a school day)
But the ultimate reason more than anything is:
To bring a ray of light into Cambo's darkened tardis

You all left out, "to bring a ray of light into Cambo's darkened tardis".....especially you Jemmie :D
Only one real reason for me......it's the only place that'll have me ![]()
- Leave some space to others on République Numérique which has its own Derrière les Portes Closes.
- It is like the public house of the site. Talking of other matters than NO and related, BUT between NO fans.
- Like Jemma said, there is always something new to learn from the others.
- It is so easy to stalk Doctor? because this is the only place he is allowed.
- I have plenty of time to kill...

I played The Joy Formidable on my last show. Nice people. They've got a couple of free downloads on their Myspace page.

still don't really know what that means.
I've only seen it used as an argument against anything that you can't actually be arsed arguing against.

To me it means posting something that you know most people who read it will disagree with, just for the sake of causing a reaction and getting into a deliberate argument; Even if you don't care or believe what your posting, a troll is just as entertained telling a bunch of happy clapper sandal wearers god is fiction as they are telling Richard Dawkins fans that they will burn in hell while Satan invades their orifices with pointy things. *shrugging smiley*

It is indeed. But when I take part in said items I am posting.
To be fair, the reason this forum was started was for non neworder music, drugs, alcohol, porn & football.......unfortunately the loonies took over the asylum and started talking religion and politics. It's been downhill since then.
And cheers for the hint Hibster, when I find the time I may well give them a try ![]()
- Boredom
- Intoxication
- Ennui
- Having lost the tv remote
- Self-employment
Pretty much those plus:
Awaiting the return of Spike, cousin to the stars and mangler of syntax

To learn about different music

to get different points of view
