This is my point. If you don't want "them" here, logically we have to take all those we've sent to "their" countries back....or it really IS saying "white massa can do as he please, but sambo stay at home". So we chuck out a load of foriegners, but we end up MORE overcrowded.

Generally foreigners are better behaved here than we are in their lands too.....I don't recall boatloads of Geordies being kidnapped and sold in Africa for instance.

I often made my views clear on the subject.... If anyone wants to come here and share our way of life they are welcome, they can live next door, and even marry my sister if they like.....but if they come here and try to turn this country into the one they just left, they're morons and cunts, if you liked life in your old country.....save all the time and effort and stay there, rather than trying to turn another one into just as awful a place. For example, I'm all for this ban on head rags that's been passed in Belgium....why? cos I hate muslims? Back on topic, and in defence of the Doctor (for a change) the original point he was making is that anyone who starts a sentence with 'I'm not against immigartion, however.....' is pretty much this millenium's equivalent of 'I'm not racist but...'. What usually follows this opening gambit is a load of half baked, fundamentally racist bullshine like the crap spouted by the halfwit above. This is pretty much undeniable.

Controlled immigration is good. It's the Labour free for all that has annoyed the majority of the UK. Why should some bloke from Iraq who has only been in the country a few months, get a council flat ahead of a tax paying UK resident who has been waiting years.

I don't see many UK residents hiding in lorries to try and get into other countries.

It's got nothing to do with race or Brits working abroad. It's to do with common fookin sense. Which Labour and Brown don't have

If it wasn't for immigration the economy wouldn't have been so successful, prior to the recession, and people can't blame other people for wanting a better life, or just 'a life'.

It's economics, not immigration: Immigrants are welcomed and encouraged when there are more crappy jobs than people willing to do them, then a recession comes along, jobs dry up, then the whinging starts.

Then the merry cycle starts all over again.

You have to have limits and control who lives in your country. This hasn't happened in the UK, hence why the current government are 3rd in the polls and are going to be kicked out next week. Thank god!

i don't think anyone sane here is disagreeing with allowing immigration; i suspect the problems arise in some hotspots in parts of the country where resources come under strain due to overpopulation rather than nationality. As someone who lives in London and frequently spends hours in traffic being cut up by every Tom, Dick and Harry each morning I can say I have plenty of experience of this. I've had two company vehicles effectively 'written off' in five years due to being shunted by people from other countries. In BOTH cases the insurance claims had to go to the loss adjusters due to the drivers being uninsured. In one case the driver turned out to be illegal and is quite probably still around writing off other insured cars.

As for Mr Brown's new list for professional occupations for migrants to be allowed in or pushed to the front of the queue, one of the occupations on the list happens to be 'SHEEP SHEARER' (I kid ye not!). One wonders how many professional migrant sheep shearers we have driving unlicensed minicabs around London.

Well, I wholeheartedly agree, nobody should get pushed aside like that, regardless of where the beneficiary may hail from. However, I'm reasonably sure these matters are 1 in a million if they happen at all, the rest happen only in the minds of Daily Fail "journalists". So when I hear "friend of a friend", or more often a relation of a relation in this inbred little burg, I instantly think bullshit.
