It's great, isn't it? I have so many childhood memories of this series that it was great rehashing them on DVD. How do you like them now?

they were my first real intro to british tv, back when they were on MTV in the mid-80s. loved it! watched some episodes when i lived in the uk, as well. a few of my friends there have it on video, thank god, 'cause i never saw it again over here!

and i always fancied the pants off rik mayall, actually! :o

Bought it the day it came out , and I still laugh like I did when it used to run on MTV. Just a bit disappointed as they didn't include that stoopid video that they did with Cliff Richard, "Living Doll".

my local pub in my last flat was the kebab & calculator! was filmed in the area i lived in

when saw alexei sayle at a book signing I got him to write Im sorry we picked the cock of the north as the pub in the young ones cos its shite (no blackthorn).

he made some story up about someone in the team fancying one of the bar staff, but reckon they picked it cos of the shape.

next week - scenes from only fools & horses filmed near where i live

Got every episode of The Young One's on video......and they are still funny as fook:nod:

I remember when it was first aired on TV, around about the same time as Auf Wiedersehen, and these were 2 shows me mam and da would let us stay up and watch:D

Best episode.....University challenge, where they are Scumbag College:lol:

One show that definantly deserves a DVD release is "Newsradio". Was there ever a bad episode of that show? Some of the best writing on American TV, hands down.

RIP Phil Hartman
